Welcome to my blog, I’m glad you are here. As a technologist, most of the topics covered here will be tech related. It is my desire to provide content that goes, as the name suggests, beyond the corner office and explore my other passions.
Jonathan Gardner has over 14 years of experience in IT and business consulting. He holds multiple Microsoft technical certification including MCSE, MCITP, and MCTS and is a PMP certified project manager. He has worked as a consultant delivering highly technical solutions for companies on the Fortune 500 list and managed the Infrastructure Practice for a Microsoft partner with responsibilities including cloud practice enablement, personnel management, and business development.As a Nation Partner Technology Strategist for Microsoft, he works with their most strategic partners helping them develop Azure practices and offerings. Along with his partner responsibilities, he is responsible for partner technical readiness and partner community engagement. He is regularly involved with shaping the readiness offerings delivered to the partner community and hosting regular partner communications and motions.
Beyond Microsoft, Jonathan has worked with the community delivering Microsoft Roadmap events and co-chairing or speaking at SQL Saturday events across the country. Jonathan writes from his personal technical blog and is a regular contributor to the Microsoft US Partner Blog. Jonathan is a published author contributing a chapter on Compliance and Auditing to Pro: SQL 2012 Practices.
Jonathan is a native of New Orleans, LA and currently lives in Lafayette, LA. When he is not working, you can find him on the rugby pitch where he is a member of the internationally recognized New Orleans Rugby Football Club, in the Crossfit gym, or out SCUBA diving in the Gulf of Mexico.
